The Garden Apartment

Unlike a typical Victorian London conversion, the unique plan of this lower ground floor flat inspired the European apartment-like layout. Taking influence from the elegant style of grand Parisian and Scandinavian apartments, a calm sanctuary with refined, feminine touches was created for the client who was moving from their long-standing family home and looking for a beautiful new space of their own. The delicate decorative detailing in the coving and bespoke joinery was inspired by the original plasterwork and fan lights over the doorways. As a studio it's always important to sensitively restore the original details and use these as a reference throughout the new design.
